The service was really fast and there is a 5% discount if you use cash. Everything was fresh and hot and very flavorful. I recommended ordering the galbi and tofu soup!

I always order the ramen soondobu! First off, I love ramyun in tofu stew and the fact that the noodles aren't an add on but included is why I always come here. Can't forget the galbi. This plus the service which is attentive and quick this review is five stars

A decent spot for Korean food and a good space for large or small groups! Service is prompt and friendly, plus they offer a discount if paid with cash. Upon arrival there were three other groups eating here. I came here on a weekday with friends and a toddler. The ladies were very mindful of the toddler and made sure not to put sizzling plates in front of the toddler! I ordered tofu soup with beef and you can decide your spice level- none, mild, regular and spicy. I chose mild and it was perfect for me. My friend got regular and it was definitely more spicy looking but that's what they wanted and they enjoyed it. There's also banchan (kimchi- very wet and sour fermented here, japchae noodles, spicy cucumber, bean sprouts, broccoli) and the tofu soup comes with raw egg that you can crack into the soup. We also ordered veggie pancake and kalbi to share. The kalbi was delicious but the plate looked a bit deceiving as I thought there would be more pieces for the price. I mean either way Korean meat tends to be pricy. They have different prices for lunch and dinner so note that when you look on the menu. The veggie pancake we noticed was more cooked and browned on one side / half than the other but it was tasty! The meal comes with purple rice and barley tea. Parking on the street can be difficult. It's pretty busy out there so factor in time to park the car!

Stumbled upon this place during lunchtime and decided to give it a try. We were able to be seated quickly and were given ample time to look over the menu and place our order with the attentive waitress. The banchan and tea were brought out and were nothing less than delicious! It's a relatively quiet setting with plenty of tables in the dining area. Not only was the food delicious, the portions were generous and were enough for sharing and to take to-go. We ordered the japchae, ham, corn, and cheese tofu stew, and bul go gi dduk bok ki. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Excellent value especially during lunch hours, when you can get an entire plate of spicy pork (bulgogi) for $20. Lots of room inside and it's rarely crowded. Service was excellent and expedient. Dinner is quite a bit more expensive for the same quantity of food, so not as great value. If you pay cash, it's a 5% discount.

I've dined in a few times, but I recently tried ordering online for pickup. The website said to be prepared to show your ID and matching credit card when you pick up the order. When I got there, they just checked my ID, and I was good to go. There were a few street parking spots available in front of the restaurant and there was only one occupied table inside when I picked up my food around 1:30 PM on a Thursday. My mom got the So Go Gi Soon Dooboo with medium spice. She described the soup as healing and soothing. I got the Soon Dooboo + Bul Go Gi combo and chose the Mandoo Soon Dooboo with mild spice. I wanted a slight kick but nothing painfully spicy, and the spice level was perfect for me. The bulgogi marinade had a nice sweetness, and the portion was generous and lasted me two meals. Both Soon Dooboos came with a side of purple rice. The bonus banchan was a nice complement to the meal. We enjoyed the sweet braised potatoes, but we found some sides like the beansprouts and broccoli to be a little bland. I appreciated the extra care in packaging the to-go order to prevent leaking (the cucumber and kimchi banchan were wrapped in an extra layer inside the box and the Soon Dooboo containers were sealed in individual bags). One of the Soon Dooboos leaked a bit, but that's why the individual bag came in handy.

Consistently delicious, friendly and clean. This is my third visit and it won't be the last.

***Update*** We decided to give this place another shot after a few years. It was actually really good food! Our friends joined us and enjoyed everything that we ordered. GALBI ~ Flavorful and smoking when it's served on a hot sizzling platter! This was a yummy dish (though pricey at $39) KIMCHI FRIED RICE (beef) ~ as expected, spicy and tasty! Most restaurants don't give meat options, but this restaurant does! FRIED CHICKEN WINGS ~ Sweet tasting and really good. I think we got about 10 wings (wings and drumettes) SEAFOOD PANCAKE ~ I guess I was expecting it to be more crispy or crunchy but it was kind of soggy and eggy. At least not oily. Our friends liked it though, but they've never had Korean food! We've had better, but this tasted healthier. BAN CHAN ~ I enjoy ban chan while waiting for the main dishes! And they give a nice variety too! They give you jap jae (clear noodles), 2 kinds of kimchi, potatoes, broccoli...etc I think about 6-8 small dishes. Sorry I didn't get all the ban chan in the photo. We ordered sake and a bottle of yogurt soju. The total was about $145 with tip....but we had 3 boxes to take home and our friends were impressed! The staff was attentive and accommodating. Although the restaurant interiors haven't changed since our first visit a few years back, it has that comfortable, down to Earth, homey vibe.
